The Fish Innovation Lab Held an Aquaculture America 2023 Session and Booth in New Orleans

The Feed the Future Innovation Lab for Fish hosted a session titled “Fish to Feed the World: Advancing Sustainable Solutions for Global Food Security” at the World Aquaculture Society, Aquaculture America Meeting in New Orleans, Louisiana, USA, on February 26, 2023. Presentations covered a variety of topics, including rice-fish farming, economic considerations, market assessments, sperm cryopreservation, aquaculture biosecurity, pathogen identification and fish health assessments, and value chains for aquaculture and related feed supplies. Fish Innovation Lab activities also featured work conducted in Bangladesh, Nigeria, Cambodia, and other locations.
Additionally, the Fish Innovation Lab held a booth in the exhibit hall. There, those interested in learning more about the lab could ask questions and receive success stories and a one-pager on the current activities as well as sign up for the newsletter, which comes out every two months.
