Alaina Dismukes is the communications specialist for the Feed the Future Innovation Lab for Fish. With expertise in writing, she creates written and visual content for the Fish Innovation Lab’s website, newsletter, social media, and print media to increase the awareness of the lab’s work.
Before joining the Fish Innovation Lab, Dismukes worked for the Delta Farm Press as a writer and photographer, providing information to help farmers improve their farming operations. While receiving her degree, she worked as a student writer for the Agriculture and Natural Resources Marketing team at Mississippi State University. There, Dismukes wrote for various publications, including MAFES Discovers, Landmarks, and the Forest and Wildlife Research Center's annual report.
Dismukes graduated from Mississippi State University with a bachelor’s degree in English.
