To improve seed quality and production of Indian major carps and exotic carps, we have a team of researchers working to establish a cryogenic sperm bank to improve commercial seed production and brood banking in Bangladesh. Availability of high-quality broodstocks produced by cryopreserved sperm will also increase the capacity of government and private hatchery operators.
