Shauncey Hill

Shauncey Hill is the program/finance manager for the Fish Innovation Lab.  She assists the director and works closely with an array of stakeholders to achieve the objectives and goals of the program.

Before joining the lab in 2018, Hill was the director for international research development at the MSU International Institute and developed and facilitated programs to assist faculty with proposal and budget development, team building for targeted funding opportunities, and relationship building with funding agencies and potential collaborators. Previously, she managed multi-million-dollar projects as the business manager of the MSU Institute for Imaging and Analytical Technologies, as well as served as the research administrator for the National Science Foundation-funded High Performance Computing Collaboratory at MSU. 

Hill received her degree in public relations from Mississippi State University and has been a certified research administrator since 2008.  She is also a member of the National Organization of Research Development Professionals, the National Council of University Research Administrators, and the Society of Research Administrators International.
